Cool, stop-motion style footage made up of a series of still photographs, of a wave wiping out a couple of friends off the coast of Hawaii.

The video, filmed in the Olivine Pools in the north part of Maui Island late last year, shows the wave plowing into the area.

The filmer later wrote online: "What was supposed to be a relaxing time at the natural Olivine Pools ... ended up being a huge wipe out which, thank God, ended up without any serious injuries for us, except several wounds and some superficial cuts.

Lo que en teoría iba a ser un baño tranquilo en las piscinas naturales Olivine Pools en la parte norte de la isla de Maui, acabo convirtiéndose en un susto debido a la enorme ola que nos barrio. Gracias a Dios no sufrimos ninguna lesión grave aparte de varias heridas y algún que otro corte superficial.
