Police officers confiscated a loudspeaker from a group of Brexit protesters outside the Houses of Parliament on March 20.

"There you go people, there's your right to protest. If you annoy Tory MPs, you get your stuff stolen," one of the protesters is heard saying.

The Public Order Bill enables the police to "impose conditions on a protest, provides for a statutory offence of intentionally or recklessly causing a public nuisance and increases the maximum penalty for the offence of wilful obstruction of a highway."
