Motorcyclists ride along A40 to celebrate the life of Hairy Biker Dave Myers

On the 8th of June 2024, thousands of motorcyclists are riding from London to Cumbria to celebrate the life of Hairy Biker Dave Myers, who died at 66, two years after revealing cancer diagnosis.

Known as ‘Dave Day’, thousands of motorcyclists are travelling to Myer’s home town of Barrow-in-Furness.

More bikers are set to join the procession along the route.

In this video, motorbikes can be seen riding on the outskirts of London, along the A40.

Some people gathered on the bridge to wave, and many motorcyclists were waving back and beeping their horns
