Animals at an Austria zoo played with a football ahead of the Euro 2024 tournament.
Footage shows an octopus, an elephant, meerkats, and short-eared elephant shrews fiddling with the object at the Vienna Zoo on June 12, two days before the anticipated football championship kicks off in Germany on June 14.
The unusual 'dream team' was chose by European Championship commentator and renowned football legend Herbert Prohaska, who highlighted each animal's potential strengths when playing the sport.
Zoo director Stephan Hering-Hagenbeck said: 'The selection of the animals by Mr Prohaska shows that animals are superior to us in many aspects. We wish the Austrian national team every success at EURO 2024.'
