The National Weather Service in Wilmington issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Northwestern Greene County and Eastern Montgomery County on June 17. The storm, located over Oakwood, was moving northeast at 15 mph. The hazards included 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail, with potential damage to trees and power lines. Areas impacted included Dayton, Kettering, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Fairborn, Xenia, Trotwood, Miamisburg, Bellbrook, Moraine, Oakwood, Yellow Springs, Wright-Patterson Afb, West Carrollton, Wilberforce, Riverside, Centerville, Oldtown, Drexel, and Woodbourne-Hyde Park. The video was shot at 3856 Linden Ave, Dayton.
