Dog Starts Kitchen Fire In Colorado Springs
Occurred on June 26, 2024 / Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
Info from Licensor: "On June 26th 2024, Bolt, a 2 year old service dog, was curious and jumped up on our stove. He accidentally hit the very easily turned on knob and ignited the fire. David Laursen, homeowner, was able to put out the fire. But due to the damage, the family will be displaced for a year while insurance makes repairs. They want to spread awareness but also a family member has made a GoFundMe to help them, as they cannot take anything from their home. Neither the dog nor homeowner was hurt in the fire."
