Revellios residents embarrassed a developer by sticking notes on their windows to warn people against buying properties in the building.

Homeowners in the tower block found a creative way to alert potential buyers in Hubei, China, on November 5.

Footage shows red posters displayed on windows with messages reading: 'Do not buy, run away!'

Nearby locals said that the apartments are cramped, poorly built and have inadequate ventilation.

The Communist state has seen a surge in the number of condo towers built in recent years. However, many are shoddily constructed and it has led to an oversupply and ghost cities, causing a property crash that has dragged down the wider economy.
