What makes the illusion so captivating is the clever setup. Her boyfriend crouched behind a blanket to hold up the dog, while 'notkenna' perfected the camera angles to hide him completely.

I saw a video of someone doing this trend with their dog and thought of a way to take it to the next level. I had my boyfriend kneel behind the blanket to hold up my dog, but I wanted to make it look more realistic. To sell the illusion, I used camera angles that showed the back of the blanket without revealing my boyfriend, making it seem like my dog was floating on her own.
