Fuyang, China - December 02, 2024 A dramatic rescue unfolded recently in Fuyang, Anhui, when a 6-year-old boy fell into a narrow, 10-meter deep well. The child, who slipped into the well with a diameter of less than 30 centimeters, became stuck at a depth of about 5 meters, wedged in a seated position against the well's wall. Firefighters from Fuyang rushed to the scene after receiving the distress call. As the boy, terrified and struggling, slid further down the well, rescuers quickly improvised by creating two hooks to catch his clothing. They then carefully lowered a rope loop to secure his wrist and elbow, slowly pulling him back to safety. The courageous rescue ensured the boy was safely brought back to the ground, unharmed.
