A man is freezing for his art as he strips to his underpants for a performance piece in London's West End, inviting the public to express themselves as they paint his body (December 26).

The 30-year-old is attempting to stand atop a wooden platform in just his socks and a pair of underpants for over 9 hours a day, several times a week in an unusual stunt, with the aim of raising money, as the artist does not charge others for his artworks.

The real-life Romeo has a goal in mind however, which is to raise enough cash to buy an engagement ring for his beloved.

Passersby reacted in many different ways from; confused, bemused, supportive and disapproving, but the man was undeterred, standing resolute on his platform, shivering in the winter night air.
