San Diego Zoo staff participated in the 136th Rose Parade with their stunning float on January 1.

Footage captures the enthusiastic members of the Wildlife Alliance waving at spectators from their float, titled 'Friendship Across the Earth' on Wednesday.

The entry commemorated the giant pandas' historic arrival and took home the Sweepstakes Trophy for its breathtaking design and exquisite floral craftsmanship.

The float showcased vibrant representations of Yun Chuan and Xin Bao, two red pandas alongside a Malayan tiger, all set against a backdrop of lush bamboo and striking landscapes.

This award marks the second consecutive victory for the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, following last year's win with their float celebrating the zoo's 107th anniversary.
