The winter sales season has officially begun in Rome and Lazio. According to the results of a survey by Confcommercio Roma in collaboration with Format Research, on the purchasing intentions of Romans for the winter sales, 70% of consumers interviewed plan to take advantage of the discounts, with an average budget of 178 euros.
In Italy, even in 2025, the start dates of the sales vary between regions, but most have adhered to the "Single guidelines of the Regions on the identification of the start date of end-of-season sales", approved on 24 March 2011, which set the start on the first working day before Epiphany.
