Los Angeles, United States - February 04, 2025 02/04/2025 09:00 pm (GMT-0800) SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – After a physical attack and threats on officers, an anti-immigration enforcement protest at a San Bernardino intersection erupted briefly into chaos between law enforcement and protesters. Protesters threw water bottles and rocks at officers and officers' cars at the Baseline and Perris Street intersection. The protesters failed to leave the area and were taunting officers. At one point, two protesters threatened to run officers over with their vehicles. Less-than-lethal rounds were used on the protesters (pepper balls and tear gas). Officers were observed chasing some of the protesters and tackling them to the ground. At least two protesters were arrested. The group of about 200 protesters broke up after officers used less-than-lethal force and began making arrests. The San Bernardino Police Department and CHP were the handling agencies.
