After mastering the route between their homes, Sparky now delivers everything from candy to bandages in his little backpack.

My neighbor and I became close friends after I moved to the neighborhood two years ago. She started visiting me daily, and Sparky, her mini Goldendoodle, accompanied her on her visits. We noticed that he automatically ran home, and then began to also run to mine. During a period of heavy snowfall I needed to borrow cream cheese, and we had the idea of sending Sparky. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy this task. We purchased him a backpack shortly after, and he has since delivered all kinds of things. Anything from candy to bandages to trinkets for our kids, he is happy to be of service. Sometimes he stays a while and visits, and sometimes he asks to go right home. The view of his floppy ears as he sprints back home with his little backpack has touched our hearts . He is the goodest good boy and I truly am lucky to have him and his family as neighbors.
