Mount Pleasant, United States - March 04, 2025 Police officers in Wisconsin couldn’t believe their ears when a four-year-old boy called 911 to report his mum for scoffing his ice cream. The Village of Mount Pleasant Police Department said the hilarious incident unfolded on March 4 when the lad rang up, claiming his mum was “being bad” and deserved jail time. When cops arrived, they found the little lad had changed his tune—he didn’t want his mum locked up after all. Bodycam footage captures the moment officers turned up at the house. “No calling 911 unless it’s a real emergency, okay?” one copper sternly told the child. The boy explained his mum had munched his vanilla ice cream—without sprinkles, no less—leaving him fuming. His mum, Rhonda Bogan, admitted she ate it after he’d been running riot, but insisted it wasn’t even his to begin with. The next day, the officers returned with a peace offering—frozen treats for the cheeky youngster. In the video, the lad’s heard saying, “She needs to go to jail,” before giggling as cops playfully cuffed his mum. “I told Siri, ‘Hey Siri, call the police,’” he boasted, revealing how he’d pulled off the stunt. Rhonda laughed it off, saying she’d chased him round the house to snatch the phone, making it sound like a ruckus on the call. Police policy means they check every 911 call, no matter how daft. “This is the first time he’s ever done anything like this,” Rhonda said, still stunned. “He’s very intelligent—and headstrong.” The coppers left with a warning: no more prank calls, or Mum might not be so lucky next time.
