Khartoum, Sudan - March 29, 2025 A video shows the destruction that took place at Khartoum International Airport two years after the war in Sudan between the army forces and the Rapid Support Forces. The Rapid Support Forces, which had control over Khartoum International Airport, deliberately looted and seized the airport’s private properties and equipment. Additionally, many aircraft belonging to Sudanese, regional, and international airlines, as well as planes of international organizations, suffered damage and destruction. Large parts of Khartoum International Airport were also destroyed, including the runway, arrival hall, departure hall, and other facilities. These images illustrate the aftermath of the destruction at Khartoum International Airport due to clashes between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, as well as the looting and theft of airport equipment and facilities carried out by the Rapid Support Forces.
