So it's significant, but I mean, if it's going down, it's not going to be a tremendous problem. The US' new tariffs situation was a little bit of a surprise, but you know, we have to face every situation. Maybe we will sell more to Asia, to Australia, to Japan, in Europe, but also to China. Why not? More and more." 4. VARIOUS OF MANUFACTURED BENCHES IN FACTORY 5. WORKER ATTACHING PAPERS ON FURNITURES (TWO SHOTS) 6. (SOUNDBITE) (English) CEO OF FERMOB, BERNARD REYBIER SAYING: "In fact, before the current situation we plan to make the painting of our product in the US. So maybe we will do that. But it was already in our mind before." 7. VARIOUS OF WORKER MANUFACTURING FURNITURES AT FACTORYLYON, FRANCE - MAY 19: French outdoor furniture manufacturer Fermob has expedited over €2 million worth of shipments to the United States in anticipation of new protectionist tariffs introduced by the US President Donald Trump. The 20% tariff on foreign-manufactured goods, part of a broader economic nationalism agenda, is expected to pose challenges for international exporters. Fermob, known for its high-end garden furniture, made the strategic move to accelerate deliveries ahead of the tariff’s implementation. “In fact, our sales in the U.S. account for 10% of our overall turnover,” said CEO Bernard Reybier. “So it's significant, but if it goes down, it’s not going to be a tremendous problem.” While the announcement caught the company by surprise, Reybier said Fermob is ready to adapt. “We have to face every situation,” he said. “Maybe we will sell more to Asia, to Australia, to Japan, in Europe—but also to China. Why not? More and more.”
