The blaze engulfed the Faculty of Agriculture at the university’s Riello campus, causing the second floor of the building to collapse, according to local reports. Flames quickly spread across the roof, prompting authorities to dispatch additional firefighting units from Rome. A security perimeter was established around the area, and nearby buildings were evacuated as a precaution. Officials said there were no fatalities or injuries reported, though several people were affected by heavy smoke inhalation. Firefighters remained on the scene working to fully contain the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
