Mundo, a house and pet sitter, didn’t expect his latest gig to include a cat vs. magician showdown, but Reaper the black cat made sure of it in this video, which skyrocketed to over 12 million views on Instagram.

Standing on the stairs, the skeptical feline lets out a long, questioning meow, almost as if demanding answers: “What are you doing? Where’s the card? Are you playing with me?!”

Then comes the grand finale. The second Mundo flips the card toward him, Reaper delivers a loud, dramatic hiss—as if to say, “Get that thing away from me!”
