Tiffany Baker set out to show her family the breathtaking beauty of Milford Sound, but her seven-year-old had other ideas.

In a hilarious travel moment, captured on video, she excitedly tells her kids, “It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” expecting awe and appreciation for the stunning New Zealand scenery.

Instead, her nonchalant son hits her with the unexpected: “Is this the playground?”

The contrast between Tiffany’s excitement and her son’s deadpan response had viewers in stitches.

March 2025 in Milford sound in New Zealand… My family of five was on our first four month world cruise with MSC. My husband and I went to kids club to get our three daughters (ages 7, 8 and 10) to experience the beauty of Milford sound. It was our first time to this amazing part of the world! You can hear my excitement and overwhelm in the video and you can also hear my seven year old make her priorities known as well! Traveling with kids requires lots of flexibility and also lots of humor! In life, sometimes you win and sometimes you learn… And we learn every single day! Our party of five is booked to travel to another 33 countries in 2026. We will be sure to include playgrounds in the itinerary.
