VARIOUS TOP SHOTS OF VEHICLES DRIVING ON ROAD AS SIRENS BLARE AMMAN, JORDAN -JUNE 14: Iran resumed missile attacks on Israel for a second day late Saturday, June 14, in retaliation for earlier Israeli strikes, while numerous rockets were also spotted in the skies over Jordan’s capital Amman. Earlier, Iranian anti-aircraft defenses responded to Israeli attacks in the capital Tehran and the port city of Bandar Abbas, with local media reporting loud explosions. Israel confirmed the new wave of strikes, escalating tensions between the two nations. Since the confrontation began on Friday, Israel has targeted Iranian nuclear and missile facilities, killing senior military officials and scientists. Iran’s UN envoy stated that at least 78 people have been killed and 320 wounded in the attacks. In response, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that continued Israeli aggression would be met with a "stronger and more decisive" retaliation. State TV reported that "heavy and destructive" counterstrikes against Israel were expected within hours. Iran has already fired multiple missile barrages since the conflict escalated on Friday.
