God Saved Our Belongings — But We Can No Longer Live in Our Home
God protected our lives and even our belongings — but our home is now officially uninhabitable.
After a ballistic missile strike near our building in Bat Yam, Israel, our home was declared structurally unsafe. The walls are cracked, and the building is in the yellow-red danger zone. Police ordered my family out and sealed the building — it is now illegal to live there.
We spent the first few nights with Christian friends who welcomed us, and now we’ve been placed in a temporary hotel. But we can’t afford new rent — our landlord refuses to return our deposit unless we paint the walls. This, in a building that was hit and evacuated!
We left the apartment door wide open, so that in case of another missile hit, the blast wave wouldn’t warp the door. Miraculously, ours was the only door that remained intact. But it meant that our home and belongings were left unprotected for hours.
Despite ongoing missile alerts, I returned to the apartment alone to retrieve our essential documents — and filmed this footage, risking my safety to show the truth.
This is more than just damage. This is our story — displacement, survival, injustice, and faith
