When Yoel Camacho and his sister headed down the steps at Bank of America Stadium to snap a photo, they didn’t expect to become the center of a viral moment.
Wearing his FC Barcelona jersey in a sea of Real Madrid fans during the Club World Cup match against Pachuca, Yoel was met with boos and jeers. Undeterred, he pulled out his phone and began recording, just in time to capture the moment someone in the crowd threw a bottle that hit him in the head.
Instead of backing down, Yoel posted the video to TikTok with the caption “Only Barcelona fan cheering for his team!! VISCA BARÇA”—and the internet took notice. The clip quickly racked up views.
