This family in Draper, Utah, were alerted by their vigilant 5-year-old daughter that a fire had started during a firework display.

The filmer told Newsflare: "As a family, we were lighting off fireworks. We thought we were being safe by placing them on the pavement. One of the sparks from the fireworks landed on dry grass/weeds behind a fence, a few feet away.

"The fire started small and we didn’t notice it. It wasn’t until our 5 year old daughter yelled 'FIRE' that we noticed the flames growing. She continued to yell louder to get our attention (it was hard to hear at first because the explosions were so loud and it was hard to see because of the bright fireworks).

"As soon as we heard her, my two brothers-in-law jumped the fence. The fire started growing rapidly. They worked quickly to put out the fire by stomping on it. It was very scary, but we were grateful for our daughter who showed her bravery to speak up."
