A traditional barber is setting himself apart by offering a unique service - cutting and styling hair in authentic 1950s styles.

Igor Sadurskii, 30, has worked as a barber for eight years, during which he has honed his skills in classic men's styles.

Igor studied at the renowned Old School Barber Academy in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and has dedicated his career to perfecting these timeless 1950s looks.

He has mastered nearly every classic style from the Jelly Roll to the Pompadour, attracting clients from far and wide to sit in his chair.

Igor, a barber based in Long Beach, California, said: "When I cut hair, it's not just about making it shorter. "

"It's about bringing out personality, character and the true barbering experience. "

"I focus on using scissors, straight razors and classic grooming pomades."

"Every haircut must be a masterpiece."

"That's my attitude."

Igor knew he was interested in barbering from a young age and started studying at the Old Barber School Academy when he turned 20.

There, he learnt how to style these traditional hair cuts for the first time and has since travelled all over the world perfecting his skill.

Igor said: "I've"

been living and working all over the world including Malaysia, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia.

"I focus on classic haircuts because I believe in their perfection. "

"These haircuts look outstanding and timeless, showing respect for the history of the craft and paying maximum attention to the quality of service."

Igor works at a salon called The Lodge Barber Co. and his 'Traditional Barbering Experience' goes for $120 (£88).

His clients come from all walks of life and have usually come to him specifically for a classic haircut.

He finds that the customers enjoy seeing themselves as an old-school Hollywood actor or rockstar, which is why they pay a premium.

Igor said: "Most of my clients come specifically for traditional haircuts and to get a life-changing, classic look. "

"Businessmen, musicians, blue-collar and white-collar workers, all of them share the desire to be heard and cared for."

"Of course they will be paying more for the style."

"A scissor-cut, groomed to perfection, has a different value than a quick buzz cut with clippers."
