GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - JULY 22, 2025: An Israeli strike on Tuesday, July 22, hit Al Shati Refugee Camp in northwestern Gaza, killing at least 16 Palestinians, including children, and injuring more than 25. The bodies of the victims were brought to Al Shifa Hospital for treatment and for funeral arrangements. At least 37 people were killed and several others injured in Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip since early Tuesday, medical sources said. Israel has killed more than 59,106 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in the Gaza Strip since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, collapsed the health system, and led to severe food shortages. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
