BABUSAR, PAKISTAN - JULY 24, 2025: At least 10 people, including six children, were killed in flash floods triggered by heavy monsoon rains in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, officials said on Thursday, July 24. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority reported that intense rainfall caused landslides and widespread flooding, injuring two people and destroying several homes. Rescue teams evacuated hundreds of tourists stranded by landslides in the Jalkhad region and at the Babusar Pass.
