Local media reported that the fire nearly doubled in size over the weekend, expanding from around 11,000 acres on Friday to approximately 21,000 acres by Sunday. As of now, it is only 13% contained.

Firefighting crews have deployed aircraft to drop fire retardants, while drones equipped with infrared cameras are being used at night to detect and monitor spot fires.
