US: All-Clear Given After Reports of Active Shooter at University of South Carolina
The University of South Carolina issued an alert of a possible active shooter near the Thomas Cooper Library on the main Columbia campus, on Sunday, August 24, ordering students to evacuate and seek shelter.
Officials later gave the all-clear after finding no evidence of the shooter, though two minor injuries were reported during the evacuation.
