Mayor Eric Adams statement on election campaign
New York, United States - September 05, 2025 Mayor Eric Adams made a statement on campaign at Gracie Mansion grounds in New York, NY on September 5, 2025. He accused Andrew Cuomo who also is running as independent of trying to push him out of the race and called Cuomo 'snake and a liar' and reiterated again that he is running and is not going to quit. Mayor played a racial card saying that Cuomo was pushing black candidates out of races. Mayor also stated that he will accept the outcome of election, saying that it is up to New Yorkers to decide who is the next mayor of the city. His campaign manager confirmed that mayor indeed met last week in Florida with Steve Witkoff.
