Tragic Tale: The Drowning Frog
This pond frog has drowned and is lying motionless on the slab as the boy tries his best to perform CPR on the frog with his fingers. This footage was filmed by Mr. Xiao, in Shaoyang, Hunan, China, at 12:00am, on March 30, 2024. Obviously, the frog, being an amphibious creature, does not drown, and his physiology makes CPR essentially useless. But this little boy, seeing the frog motionless beside the pond, immediately associated it with drowning and pressed on its abdomen relentlessly. The frog might have regained consciousness, but after the boy's resuscitation, it had no chance of waking up.
