A bait box filled with sun-soaked fish heads has become the unlikely star of a viral Instagram video, after ourseastories posted footage of the stomach-churning scene — racking up over 571,000 views and a wave of horrified laughter.

Left untouched for days, the bait box had essentially marinated in the heat, releasing a stench so potent it caused two crew members to gag on the spot. The cameraman, however, remained unfazed — capturing every grimace and dry heave with cinematic precision.

Here we have a bait box filled with fish heads that was left untouched for a few days too many — basically marinating in the sun until the putrid smell became enough to make anyone nearby gag. We had two casualties on the spot, while the cameraman powered through without even a flinch. Definitely not for weak stomachs. The stench spread so far we had to leave the dock out of courtesy to the other crew catching a whiff. And honestly… it was so ridiculous we couldn’t stop laughing through the whole thing. Safe to say, we won’t be forgetting about that again!
