Firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out after the attack destroyed an industrial infrastructure facility.

The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed conducting a massive strike against Ukraine's military-industrial facilities in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, and Zhytomyr regions, as well as in Vinnytsia, and Lviv.

Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, saying it sought to “denazify” and “demilitarize” the country.

Moscow has since demanded that Kyiv abandon plans to join military alliances and withdraw troops from Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson — regions Russia claims to have annexed in September 2022.

Ukraine has rejected those terms as an ultimatum and insists on a cease-fire before negotiations.
