Tusk Turtle Trail 2025 - catchy Myrtle The Turtle by Ralph Steadman outside Tottenham Court Road station
Catchy green Myrtle the Turtle painted by Ralph Steadman stood at the entrance to Dean Street just outside Tottenham Court Road during the Tusk Turtle Trail in central London from July till 12 September. The sculpture was designed by Sadie Williams, realised by Toby Williams and hand finished by Ralph Steadman. According to Tusk Trail website, Myrtle the Turtle brings the two-dimensional drawing from The Gonzovation Trilogy by Ralph Steadman and Ceri Levy into the three-dimensional world. Myrtle is one of the most popular artworks of the 300 drawings in the collection. Tusk Turtle Trail finished public display of the marine turtle sculptures on Friday, 12 September with all of them going on auction through Tusk in October this year.
