Dutch police clash with anti-immigration protesters in Amsterdam, Netherlands
On September 20, 2025, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, @domblond2 shared a video of protesters clashing with police officers. According to reports, Dutch police used tear gas and a water cannon to disperse violent anti-immigration demonstrators. Thirty people were arrested, and two police officers were injured. Protesters, many waving Dutch and far-right flags, threw rocks and bottles, set a police car on fire, and briefly blocked a highway. Local media reported that windows were smashed at the headquarters of the centre-left D66 party, causing significant damage. Authorities stated further arrests may follow as camera footage is reviewed.
