VARIOUS OF SMOKE RISING FROM SITES OF ISRAELI ATTACKS, RESIDENTS WALKING THROUGH RUBBLE-STREWN STREETS GAZA, PALESTINE - OCTOBER 2, 2025: As Israel’s genocide and occupation of the Gaza Strip continue unabated, Israeli forces on Thursday killed at least 27 Palestinians and injured many others across the besieged enclave. In a new massacre in Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian man who was trying to recover the body of a relative from beneath the rubble after an earlier strike. Medical sources said the attack killed the man and wounded several others who were in the area. The wounded were transferred to the Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City. The Israeli army also continued its demolition and detonation of dozens of homes using booby-trapped vehicles in the Al-Sabra and Tel Al-Hawa neighborhoods in the south of the city, as well as in the Sheikh Radwan and Al-Nasr neighborhoods in the northwest. Israel has killed over 66,200 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in its ongoing genocide in Gaza since October 2023. The relentless bombardment has rendered the enclave uninhabitable and led to a famine.
