Israel: Four Charged with Theft and Break-Ins at Critical Communication Facilities
Israel - October 09, 2025 Following an investigation by the Southern District Central Unit, four residents of the Bedouin diaspora were indicted for a series of serious offenses, including theft from communication facilities, breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit a crime, and possession of burglary tools. The suspects allegedly operated as an organized group, targeting cellular antenna sites across Israel and stealing valuable backup batteries essential for maintaining communication continuity. Their arrest followed a covert operation by Southern District detectives and Sahar Brigade forces. The indictments were filed by the Negev Police Prosecution Unit.
