Smoke lingers over Forest Hill after massive fire at London ski shop

The footage captures lingering smoke rising from Finches Emporium, a family-run ski shop on Perry Vale near Forest Hill station in southeast London, following a major fire that broke out on October 16, 2025, at 6:27 p.m.
The blaze required 15 fire engines and around 100 firefighters to bring under control.
All 15 residents from the flats above were safely evacuated with no injuries reported.
Local speculation of arson continues amid reports of multiple recent fires in the area, though early investigations point to an accidental cause pending official confirmation.
