What began as a spark of inspiration has turned into a blazing performance art. Drummer Dana Lapointe has gone viral for his electrifying fire drum videos, where flaming sticks, cymbals, and even drum heads light up in sync with the music.

Dana Lapointe told Newsflare: "I started doing these videos because I once saw a guy light sticks on fire and it started as just that however when I lit my stick on fire I thought it would be cool to see my cymbals on firee with the sticks and once I did that it worked however I noticed the cymbals dripping the flammable substance onto my drums in which I thought I’d light the drums on fire too and this song went well with it so it all came about"
