Renee Doucette (@doucey83) in Ontario, Canada, has officially joined the ranks of viral pet comedians with a video that’s racked up over 12 million views—and it all started with a dad joke.

“What do you call a dog that’s playing outside in the winter…? A chili dog!” Renee quips in the clip, before bursting into exaggerated laughter as part of the popular “tell your pet a joke” trend.

Her dog Penny, however, was not amused.

Renee told Newsflare: “I decided to do the viral trend where you tell your pet a joke and then laugh ridiculously to see how they react.”
