A new video filmed at Dujiangyan base of the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda (CCRCGP) in southwest China's Sichuan Province has captured the heartwarming daily life of panda mother Rui Rui and the two playful young companions, Zi Rui and Ao Ke. In the footage, mother panda Rui Rui cleverly uses a wooden climbing frame to play with the two cubs, creating a joyful and educational moment that helps the young pandas develop strength and coordination while bonding with their caregiver. The scene radiates warmth and affection, showcasing the tender side of panda family life. Zi Rui, a female cub, was born in July 2023 at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda. Her mother is Rui Rui. Ao Ke, a male panda cub, was born in August 2023 along with his twin brother Ao Ran. Their mother is Xian Xian, another resident panda at the same center. The CCRCGP is a world-leading institution dedicated to the breeding and conservation of one of China's national treasures, the giant panda. The center has established a global platform for promoting international cooperation and exchanges involving 18 zoos from 16 countries and regions, 39 domestic animal breeding institutions, and over 10 scientific research institutes.
