TikTok viewers are swooning over Poe, an energetic kitty who’s made up a game with his cat dad that’s equal parts adorable and exhausting. It all started when Poe became obsessed with lizard videos on Cat TV, leaping at the screen to catch his digital prey—until he realised the top lizards were out of reach.

That’s when Kayla’s husband stepped in, lifting Poe to help him “hunt” the higher lizards. Poe melted into his arms, fully trusting the lift—and now it’s become their daily ritual. Poe will trot over, paws up, asking to be picked up again and again. His dad obliges, though he admits he needs breaks because “Poe could do this for hours.”

When the game pauses, Poe follows him around, hopping on two feet like a toddler demanding one more go.

Poe is a very energetic kitty so we started putting on cat TV for him to watch and he really loved the lizard videos. He would jump on the TV stand and try to catch the lizards, but obviously he couldn’t jump to get the top ones so my husband walked over, picked him up one time and Paul just sink into his arms and wanted him to bring him up to catch the top lizards of the screen. So now they do this all the time and Poe will go to my husband wanting to be picked up and he could do this for hours so my husband has to take breaks because his arms get tired. But once my husband puts Poe down and he’s not done playing yet. He will follow him around jumping up on 2 feet wanting to be picked up.
