Me and my car vs tree on a really windy day in the UK, 2020. Who wins?
I was driving back home in Rowstock, UK on a really windy day in summer 2020. I had half an eye on the trees as I knew they were a bit dodgy, and also had a window down. Just as I drove under the first tree I heard a massive CRACK above the wind and my music, and started to slow in case it was a branch...and then slammed on the brakes when I realised it was an entire tree that was falling. I managed to stop just in time, but had to find a different route home as the road was now blocked, and stayed that way for a few hours.
