Indian Government Calls Delhi Car Explosion a Terror Attack. India’s government confirms the deadly car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort was a “terror incident,” killing at least eight people and injuring 20. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet condemned the attack as a “cowardly act” by anti-national forces after a late-night security meeting. No arrests have been made, and authorities have not named suspects as investigations intensify across the capital .The cabinet directed investigators to work with “utmost urgency” to identify the perpetrators, collaborators, and sponsors. The explosion occurred when a slow-moving Hyundai i20 stopped at a red light before detonating, damaging nearby vehicles. A high alert was declared across Delhi, with neighbouring states — including Uttar Pradesh — tightening security around major landmarks. Home minister Amit Shah said all possibilities are being examined, vowing a “thorough investigation” and full transparency. Modi offered condolences to victims’ families, while opposition leader Rahul Gandhi called the attack “extremely heartbreaking.” Instructions: THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
