Los Angeles, United States - November 18, 2025 11/17/2025 07:00 pm GMT-0800 POMONA, Calif. – Pomona police officers and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a shooting investigation Monday evening at an apartment complex in the 700 block of East Third Street. A witness, who did not want to be named, reported that both a male and a female were shot inside an apartment. Homicide detectives from the Pomona Police Department arrived at the scene around 6:48 p.m. and took over the investigation into the double fatal shooting. The Pomona Police Department released additional information via social media on Tuesday, confirming that one adult female and one adult male were found with gunshot wounds. The female was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the male was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The two knew each other, and at this time, investigators are not seeking any additional suspects, according to the PPD. As of now, it is unclear what led up to the shooting. However, due to the circumstances of the incident, the Pomona Police Department's Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene.
