Baby mimics salute for the first time in Guizhou, China
On November 10, 2025 in Guizhou, China, @KikoAkiyama shared a video of their 28-day-old baby interacting impressively with a parent. In the video, the parent teaches the baby how to salute by guiding the baby’s hand twice. When the parent lets go and says “salute,” the baby lifts its hand on its own—mimicking the gesture almost perfectly and even doing it twice, just like the parent demonstrated. The moment is both adorable and surprisingly skilled for such a young baby.
