In a lively display of cross-species communication, a parrot was heard producing rhythmic, song-like calls. Its owner, drawn in by the catchy tune, decided to join in by imitating the parrot's unique vocalizations. To everyone's delight, the parrot seemed to recognize the mimicry and answered with new variations, creating a playful call-and-response exchange. Back and forth they went, trading whistles and chirps in what felt like a lighthearted, nonverbal chat. It was a heartwarming example of how sound and rhythm can build a bridge between humans and birds.
This footage was filmed in Wanzhou, Chongqing, at 18:09, on September 23, 2025.
