A homeschooling mother has gone viral after sharing her children’s hands-on science experiment. The clip, posted to Instagram by Jessica Berúmen Moran (@jessicaberumenmoran), has now reached 304,000 views.

Jessica explained that her daughters are naturally curious, often collecting safe samples such as bugs or everyday materials to study under their microscope. In this video, her eldest picked a scab and asked her sister to place a blood sample on a slide. Their excitement was captured as they examined the sample, believing they might see blood cells.

Jessica clarified that the shapes were actually air bubbles, noting that their children’s microscope doesn’t magnify enough to reveal cells. She added, “I love homeschooling because it encourages hands-on learning—it hits so differently.”
