Exclusive- 'Why are you driving a car?' Little boy’s honest question to Santa charms the internet
A small-town parade of lights turned into a viral sensation after a child asked Santa Claus why he was driving a car instead of flying with his reindeer. The clip, posted to TikTok by Chelsea (@milkandmemory), has now reached 500,300 views.
In the video, Chelsea’s three-year-old son innocently asks: “But Santa, why are you driving a car?” Santa replies with a smile: “I like to give the reindeer time off so they can stay at home until we’re ready to go on Christmas Eve.” The boy simply responds: “Oh…” — a moment that melted hearts online.
Chelsea explained to Newsflare: “We had the honour of driving Santa’s float in our small town parade of lights. Santa pulled up to get on and my son asked why he was driving a car. He gave a great answer!”
