Knee-deep lake-effect snow during winter storm in Ontario, Canada
On December 11, 2025 in Ontario, Canada, @whoaminev shared a video of knee-deep snow caused by a powerful lake-effect squall. In the video, snow piles rise high enough that cars appear to sink into it, while people trudging through the drifts show just how deep and heavy the accumulation has become. The storm brought widespread warnings for 30–50 cm of additional snowfall in areas such as Barrie and Collingwood.
